EASTER 2020 SCHEDULE
Due to the state-wide restrictions currently in place, we have to get creative this year in how we observe Easter. Here's the slightly unconventional weekend we have planned, allowing you to engage on three different days in three different ways:
FRIDAY: ALL-CHURCH LITURGY
At 7:30pm on Friday, April 10, we'll meet up on Zoom for a time of Scripture, song, prayer, and communion. Anyone is invited into this virtual space of focused reflection on the death of Jesus. All you need to do is follow this link to join the meeting (you'll need the password 032141). Also, have some bread (or crackers or biscuits or anything solid) and some juice (or wine or sports drink or anything liquid) nearby.
SATURDAY: INDIVIDUAL DAY OF FASTING
To help us remember the darkness of Jesus in the grave, we're inviting everyone to engage in a day of fasting on their own. You can fast from food, technology, or anything that you think will help you make the most of this personal opportunity to reflect, pray, and wait. Check out our Facebook page after the Good Friday service for a brief video explaining this practice in more detail.
SUNDAY: MISSIONAL FAMILY CELEBRATIONS
As we rejoice on Easter morning, each Missional Family will use technology to connect on their own and celebrate the resurrection. If you're not currently involved in a Missional Family but would like to participate in one of these gatherings, just email Drew (email@example.com) to find out how to plug in.
