The Lord's Table is a central practice of the local church. It's not just a hollow ritual. It's a sacred tradition, steeped in meaning and saturated in grace. Plenty of us have crunched a cracker or sipped a little cup of grape juice. But have we fully entered the mystery of joining Jesus at the table and experiencing his presence?
In this short series, we're looking at this practice of eating and drinking from three different angles: invitation, community, and sacrament. Each one helps us understand the meal Jesus has given to us and what it means to participate in it. These messages will help shape our community as we practice the Lord's Supper in our own unique context.
At the Table: Invitation (Luke 22:7-30)
At the Table: Community (Acts 2:42-47)
At the Table: Sacrament (1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
At the Table: Warning (1 Corinthians 11:17-22, 27-33)
